Webflow

Webflow in 2024 and beyond

A few months ago, Webflow had its annual conference, and there have been some great new announcements. Of course, there was AI, but I think other things are much more interesting.

I have been following Webflow closely and watching the direction they are going, and I must say it's great to see what they are working on and pushing out. There have been so many great things updated. Here are a few highlights:

1. Page building

We can create components and templates for landing pages, which will give you more freedom to design exceptional landing pages and conduct experiments.

2. Analyze (New Add-on)

Webflow Analyze puts a native, unified view of visitor behavior into the hands of designers and content marketers — so you can make data-backed decisions that improve site performance.

3. Optimise (New Add-on)

Maximize conversions with rapid insights, tailored visitor experiences, and AI-powered delivery. This approach is ideal for A/B testing and is fully integrated. However, it’s quite expensive.

4. AI inside Designer and Editor

From generating sections and content, AI will speed things up, which will give more time for exploration and testing things out.

5. Improved UI and Marketing, Editor experience

I think the usability and how you can create and build stuff in Webflow is just so great. It's great and gives designers so much power to create great websites in no time. Simplify versions for clients so they can focus on content and have a great experience updating their websites. So much better than WordPress!

6. GSAP

Last but not least. It's the big one, and it's coming to Webflow in the future to improve interactions and animations. I think if you want to create stunning websites, GSAP is the way to go. But even for just simple interactions, this will be great to have, and it will give people tons of opportunities to create unique experiences.

So stoked about where Webflow is going. I will be sharing more about how I use Webflow and what's next soon.
