When our tools become the too complex
A couple of months ago, I launched new services and offerings. The time is coming to review how things are going, but before that, I want to share something as a reminder for myself.
When I was working on it, I thought I needed all those systems to onboard clients and manage the flow of things to be perfect. Now I see I was building a castle. What I actually need is a small, lovely house with a big table to invite people over.
I built numerous systems, and they have become so complex that I am finding some of them haven’t been used in the last couple of months. It's a good reminder to simplify things, and that's my plan now.
I’m going to strip things back down and make them simple. We always think we need more, but sometimes we don’t. We always strive to have the best and most excellent tools, services, or AI models, but perhaps we need something simple.
I have a feeling things have gotten too complex in digital as well. I want to keep things simple and easy, but I've failed. However, a great thing about digital is that you can change.
And that's my plan for what's next. Keep things simple, and build stuff with great values for myself or my clients.
